I’d love to get a stage 1 tune but just not prepared to lose engine / drivetrain warranty :( The ACC also leaves too big of a gap, need to play with it a bit more to see if I can find the sweet spot. It also seems to be far too economically minded and lugs along in as high a gear as possible when in drive. It’s either barely on, or on full! I am waiting on my OBD11 device so keen to try the coding to change throttle to direct, but from reports on here I suspect a pedal box might need to be ordered (although I’m a bit skeptical seeing some negative reports). super annoying in drive, still annoying in sport but not as bad. Loving it so far except for the throttle delay.

Just picked up my new Tiguan Allspace 162TSI MY21 (Nov ‘20 build) in white. I am sure there was an answer for this, but can’t find it. I have been searching other threads but can’t find what I am looking for, someone asked about making the two round dials smaller while you have the map activated in the AID. The car is great to drive, doesn’t have the raw appeal and lazy torque of the 6.2lt I was driving, but I am enjoying it. I will drop in for a software update when I get home tomorrow. This stuff happens, I’m not concerned, what matters to me is how the dealership handle it, and they have been excellent at Warrnambool VW. The gauge is showing full the whole time and the distance to empty has varied from 60-95k, even on a full tank. Have driven 350k today into Melbourne and unfortunately the fuel gauge has an issue (probably software related they tell me). My 10 year old was blown away that the adaptive cruise slowed us down as a car in front was turning, then sped us up again (so was I actually, quite wierd the first time). Wow, all the tech is going to take a while to get used to. Well, I picked the car up at 17:28 last night just before they shut the doors.
